The Sports of my Life

Ever since I was a kid I had learned to love basketball. I know it's not the sport you would think I would be interested of because I was so small back then and because of the fact that I am a girl. I love playing it at school or even in our neighborhood. Most of my playmates are boys, I rarely had a girl to play with in that sport except in school. Small but terrible, that's what I always hear from my classmates, schoolmates and friends before whenever I am playing basketball. My father (may his soul rest in peace) loved basketball too and he was once a player. We share the same interest and would watch a basketball game together, although we had different choice of teams and we seldom argue because of that. I had stopped playing basketball when I was introduced to a sport named Taekwondo. Since then, I rarely go out and play with my friends anymore because I was hooked up with the new sport that I have learned. I really wanted to learn martial arts when I was still young, my ulterior motive for wanting to join was to defend myself from the bullies at school. I never got the chance to learn it not until during my college days. Since then I keep on practicing a lot and joined tournaments. Taekwondo had a very great impact in my life, it is in this sport that I gained more self-esteem and learned discipline and hardwork.

PageRank Updates

...and Google has updated it's PageRanks again! I am still happy in spite of not having gained back this blog's PR because my other blogs gained another one. Unfortunately my MeiYah's World blog's PR 2 is now N/A. What is N/A by the way??

N/A (not available) - it is not possible to show any PageRank now.

The N/A pagerank (grey pagerank bar) might be due to one of the following reasons:

(1) the web page is new, and it is not indexed by Google yet,
(2) the web page is indexed by Google, but it is not ranked yet,
(3) the web page was indexed by Google long ago, but it is recognised
as a supplemental (Supplemental Results) page,
(4) the web page or the whole website is banned by Google.

So, if you see a grey pagerank bar or N/A rank upon your web page, you should not panic.

This probably means that the web page either is not ranked yet, or there was some temporary error and Google's server could not return the current page rank value, so the server said that "the page rank was not available for displaying at that exact moment".

In order to make sure your web site is not banned by Google, you can search Google for your site's address. If the address is in the search results, this means the site is NOT banned and you can relax and not to pay any attention to the temporary bug with N/A pagerank.

and so I tried to search my site on Google and it is in the search results, so that means my site is NOT BANNED! Whew! That is a relief! I just hope it will gain back it's PR soon...

1. Jeremiah - should be my name now if they haven't changed it, I like it pa naman. tsk3...

2. Yolanda Miah- this is the given name in my B. C. (hatag ni nila, ala ko'y mabuhat, dli pa man tah kareklamo sauna, igu ra mu-uhhhaaa!! uuuuhhhaa!!!)

3. Che-Che - My nickname, my family and relatives calls me by that name and I really don't know how did they get that? (Kalayo sakoang angga tawon uie!)

4. Yoland's/Yo - my classmates and schoolmate in elementary and high school calls me by that name.

5. JM - I got this from my JereMiah name and my ULTIMATE CRUSH / My First Love calls me by this alias. Rhon one of my bestfriends calls me JM and her family too..

6. Tedybabes and Dannica Nicole - I combined a my name and the name of my Utimate Crush, and yan ang result. I used those two as my nicks in the IRC World.

7. Miah - (read as Mi Ya) I don't like to be called by my first name? Why? I had the same first name in one of my sister, hers is Yolanda Micah. When someone would call here at home looking for Yolanda, it's so tiring to ask which Yolanda? Duh! Basta, I don't want my name to be associated from her name because I HATE HER A LOT!!! (she's not my real sis by the way....) My bestfriends, close friends, acquaintances, new found friends calls me MIAH now.. wehehehe...

8. Youd's/ Bugoy/ JM - tawag sakoa sa akoang mga crushes sauna.. wehehehehe...

9. Jerahby - My xbf used to call me... Jerah means as sweet as honey and got the by from baby.... (sa kanya is Jarahby and same meaning lang ang Jerah and Jarah, I just forgot at what country is it).

10. Mei Yah / Bi Nga - My mandarin name which is Mei Yah which means Beauty and Elegance (Ehem!) while the Bi Nga id my Fookien name.

I tried to check my blog at Friendster a while back. I haven't updated that much and Yeah I do have blog there, I started blogging there then next is here at Blogger. I was surprised when I tried to view my blog there, it is in WordPress theme, I looked and checked if it was the right URL and Yes it is! Friendster Blogs are now powered by WordPress! Cool huh?! I can now build links there, so anyone of you might want to exchange links with me? Just leave me a message and I will contact you ASAP. Hmm.. I immediately change the default theme into something much nicer and I hurriedly add up all my links there and my friend's links too!

My First Ever Domain

I bought a domain last week at godaddy.com and I was hoping that the .com on sale was still up but too bad it was over and it's price is back to normal again. Good thing that the .info is still on sale and I got it for $2.19, good for one year. Yippeee!! I have first ever domain now, you can check it out guys by clicking here and you're free to drop a line or two, I'd be happy to read it.

I've already withdrawed my funds at PayPal so I cannot afford to buy meiyah.com which is by the way very much available! Oh, well I was happy that on that particular day I have received new funds from the sponsored posts that I made way back. So I immediately bought my newly domain but unfortunately I still haven't decided what to do with it not until the other night.

Well, that was not from the one whom I’ve been writing about here, it’s the other guy. I wasn’t expecting it and I am really surprised when he told me that he wanted me back! It’s been quite a while since the two of us talked. We still remain friends though…

He was the good guy, very responsible, hardworking, kind, caring, sweet, most importantly Honest, has a high respect for me and my family and the one who has a Backbone! I can say he is the ideal guy for me… even my family and best friends like him. But, there’s a big BUT! I don’t love him anymore… I used to before but now it’s really gone…

Now here is the guy who would give everything and would risk anything just to win me back, but my stupid heart is still in love with someone else. Someone who doesn’t love me because his heart belongs to someone else. What a chain noh? Ironic, I shall say…

A close friend told me once; ‘That it’s better if he is the one who loves you more because you know he would never dare to hurt you…’ but what if you don’t have any feelings for that person anymore? Would you still dare to go on?

I told him to forget about me and go on with his life or better find someone who is deserving of his love. Yet he chose to stay and now I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to say it to him in a way that he won’t get hurt. Though I know it would really hurt and I pity him, it does just don’t feel right to see him in pain, he’s such a good guy… If only I could teach my heart to love him too… He doesn’t deserve all this (kung sa isa pa sus kulang pa siguro ni, kulang pa kayo… he is the one who should suffer…)

Hay, kakaloka…. He knew I am in love with someone else but still he wants me back rather than being hurt over again by someone who doesn’t really love me... I cannot blame him, I myself is into the same kind of situation too. I knew that the guy I have been in love with is now in love with someone else, but still I am hoping he would come back to me. Well, I was hoping because I thought there was really something between us, but I think that is what he was just trying to let me see and feel (ako pud si tanga na-uto dayun) sigh…but now I am not hoping anymore, I have accepted it already but still my feelings for him never changed. I have not been with myself lately and I know this feeling didn’t do anything good to me anymore. I am trying really hard to forget him, everything about him but I haven’t succeeded yet. I hope it would be sooner… Coz I don’t know how long this heart of mine can accept all this pain… Even if he had hurt me (intentionally and unintentionally), I still wish him to be happy. To the other guy, I wish him well too, and I hope that he will find the right one for him…

I was kind of upset last night and hurt, yeah... again... I was crying and I don't wanna go home like that and if I go home I might just cry all night till I fall asleep... So I called my best friend Janned and asked if it's okay if I'll go to their place and stay there for the night... Glad it's okay... It was raining that night, hhmm... the weather seems to be on my side too, just like the old days, it's like history repeats itself again... Maybe because I haven't learned from that experience before. I know I would end up hurting again but still I am so stubborn and I let myself be into the same situation again. Though the only difference now is that secreto man uie nyahahhaha... hay... basta... makabuang! uurrgghh!! makalagot na ambot!!! waaahhh... huhuhuhu.... How I wish na lang....

Another Random Blah's

The other day, I get to talk to one of my ex-office mate. She told me that there was some unknown guys who tried to rob in their workplace. The guard on duty was tied up and was thrown into the canal just outside the place. I was shocked upon knowing this news. I've been working there for months and nothing bad had happened to us, and it's been months already since I've resigned there. I asked my ex-office mate if the guard on duty was sleeping again because when I was still there and when we usually have overtime, I would always catch him sleeping. It's not just once that I nor my other ex-co-workers had noticed that. It's a crucial task that is on his hands, and he should had not taken that for granted. Well, My ex-office mate told me he was really asleep at that time. It's his fault that he had been hurt and injured now. Good thing the unknown guys didn't kill him and didn't get anything there.

Well, the place was kinda huge for just one guard, maybe they should add one up and find a new guard to take the night shift. I know it's not the time to laugh but I can't help but laugh when she told me that he was thrown up into the canal. That canal is kind of huge and he could really fit there even if he would stand up. Well, I pity him, because he was badly hurt but it's his fault why he ended up that way. If he just really do his job, it might not had happen. People there in Tagum City, beware and keep your guards up. That's all! :)

*Just an Update*

I saw the news the other day and the guard I was referring to was not the one who had been hurt, it was a different guard pala... wehehehe.. soweee wrong info... I thought kasi it was the guard whom I always catch sleeping during his shift, it was the other one pala... Anyways, I saw my former workplace on the news and they showed what happened to the building. The burglars had crashed the wall and you could see the vault from the inside. But too bad they can't open it or carry it (gipasementuhan na to dati, toweng!) Well, they could've opened it (maybe?), if the guard didn't crawl for help outside. I can still remember I used to be the keeper of that vault (tama ba akoa term wehehe). I mean I have an access to it since I am in-charge of the budget, meals, depositing it to the bank and etc. Hmm... God is still good, he didn't allow those guys to get something from the company I used to work for. Luoy lang gyud ang guard...

Angel in Disguise...

Got the chance to talk again with an old friend, it's been a while since we had a conversation. He's busy with his new life now that he seldom go online. And last night we had a serious conversation, not like the usual talks that we had in the past. And I guess there's a reason behind all this and whatever reason it is, I wanna thank God for sending me an angel in disguise. It somewhat helped me... in a way.

RS: HE really works in wonders u can never imagine possible. kaya i believe that no matter how hard u try to forget that guy.... it just won't work, alam mo kung bakit? coz ur heart's not yet tired of him. pero lam mo.... it will just come to u one day like BAM! wala na, kasi ako i woke up one day as in wala na. u can't force urself to forget him, it'll come eventually. it's time when it's time. :)

RS: basta know where ur limits should be.. anything in excess may do more damage than good. it's ok to be friends with him, but pls know up to where u should be stopping when needed. sometimes kc we tend to overlook at what's coming although we can already see it... we pretend not to, it's bcoz we have something in mind that we want to happen. so never expect too much in return.

RS: there's a difference between being blind and having the wisdom to analyze things out...

RS: well...i hope u get over of that guy pretty soon. ay mali pala, sana HE will open ur mind to new horizons and new path to tackle na lang pla. basta keep on praying, HE won't give u problems without a solution. HE just want u to go discover it by urself and to make u stronger and more mature in handling things in the process.

Hmmm... just don't understand... you do know what to do...only you're stubborn. Move on if you really want to. You said it yourself, you have been carrying that load for a time... don't you think its about time that you unload it?

THE THING IS: No one can decide for you... no one can help you unless you help yourself. Accept the things that had happen and go on. you know what? the only thing that can help you move on is your DECISION to ACCEPT what has been done. That's the only way you can start anew. STOP BROODING OVER THE PAST. You owe that to yourself.

I just hope you decide on to the better solution... its all up to you... all you have to do is to DECIDE... DECIDE NOW and DECIDE FAST.

Girl's Night Out

Meet Rhon at Charlie's in Damosa with her high school classmates. Haven't seen her for a while and I kind of miss her. This is our only chance to meet again because she will be leaving again the day after, yeah so sad. But we had fun there and by the way their pasta was really great, so yummy... their pizza though is just so so... but it was still good. :) I was shy at first because I don't know her high school friends but we did get along very well. They were fun to be with actually.

After dining we went to Al Fresco which is a few meters away from Charlie's and we had coffee there. Chit Chat, laugh, take photos and then laugh again hehehe. We had a great night.

I think she forgot she had some company, hmp, too busy talking to her ehem...

We went at Rhon's place afterwards so she can pick her bagpack because she will sleep at our place. They will be leaving at dawn going to Butuan and their office is just near our place, that's why. When we reach their home we were waiting for minutes and wondered what took her so long. The thing is she haven't packed her things yet, yeah! That's not new to me. anymore, hehehe...

We had a great night, not until we ride on to this certain taxi and the driver drove so fast that we almost had an accident. Thank God we didn't bumped into another vehicle. Whew! I wonder if he's really a the driver for that taxi because normally the taxi drivers had their big Identification Cards hunged up infront but he has no ID. We try to tell him to slow down, and he did... a little *lol*. Well, we arrived home safe and sound, Thank God! :)

I couldn't sleep that night, I think it' because of the coffee? I'm not really used to drink one hehehe... I was still up at around 5 or 6 a.m. Wahhh...

Well, Rhon's leaving and I'm sure gonna miss her company. She will be back again in town next month. Hopefully she can make it up on my birthday. :)

I tought: unsa ni binuang?! gi-add2 pa gyud koh?! Kinsa man ni?! Checked her profile and she was still younger than me, meaning ako ang orig na Miah Laborte! wehehehehe... HHmm.. could we be relatives?? Well, the Laborte's are originated from Cebu, that's on my father's side, and on her profile, she was from Luzon. We don't have any similarities when I looked at her photos... Well, I didn't add her to my friends list yet, I still have to interrogate her... Nyahahaha... Neways, Ala lang share ko lang, I thought someone was just playing around but then I saw her friendster profile started September last year... Hmm... Let's just see...

I just finished watching the Season One of Kitchen Confidential yesterday... bitin! waaahhh!!! Want to watch it's season two... hhmm... sino may cd/dvd? hehehe... It's really great and funny... wehehehe....

I just started watching AVATAR: The Last Air Bender late in the afternoon yesterday and I liked it... So I continue to watch until I've finished the Book 1! Imagine that, hahahaha. My sister's DVD is up to Book 2 Chapter 13 only, bitin na pud! waahh!!! I wonder what happened to Apa... hhmm... Can't wait to grab a copy of the continuation of it.... hehehehe... Na-addict ba dayon sa Avatar... I think this is the next Anime that I liked besides Naruto and Fushigi Yuugi. I can watch it's episodes til I drop! waahahaha... Ing-ana ka-addict sa Anime...

I also started playing Avatar in PSP hehehehe... Nice game by the way... :)
