Prison Break

I have been addicted to this series, Prison Break. I think I have finished watching the season 1 and 2 of it in a week... hahaha... I really like Micahel Scofield's character; calm, genius and good looking pa... hahaha...

Then later on an ex told me that Wentworth Miller (Michael Scofield) is gay, huuwaattt??!! Crush ko pa naman siya, toinkz! But as I researched on the internet, they were just rumors and speculations about him being gay and dating a celebrity guy. Hence, he denied that he is gay... Hmmm... sayang man if he's really gay oi! LOL!

Anyways, back to the series... I like how he (Scofield) plan and designed those tattoos on his body which was their key to escape, it was just the map of the Fox River State Penitentiary where his brother Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell) was incarcerated and sentenced to death for the crime he didn't commit. It is where Scofield would be imprisoned for committing armed robbery which he intentionally did so he can gain access to Fox River...

Well, I'm not gonna spoil those who haven't seen this TV series yet... hehehe... But it's really worth watching... I have finished watching season 3 of it and now I am so excited to watch it's season 4... =)

DYOSA

Dyosa has been finally aired last night next to Singing Bee on ABS-CBN. It stars Anne Curtis in the lead role of a young woman who discovers she can shape shift and have godlike powers. Dyosa is a goddess of the four elements which are Water, Air, Fire, and Earth. Anne Curtis’ character in Dyosa can transform in to Mermaid (half-fish), a Kentaurides (half-horse or Centaur), or a Siren (half-bird).

Actually I don't like the first time I saw Anne on one of the teenage shows in GMA, She's so OA and she don't know how to act. I rarely watch her shows but not until she moved to ABS-CBN and had her own teleserye entitled 'Kampanerang Kuba'. I am seeing a different Anne Curtis at that time, she improved a lot and she's not OA anymore. Her acting skills has improved a lot, really. And then I didn't notice that I always watch her teleserye every night. that's how I started to like Anne Curtis as an actress and not just as a beautiful face on the Entertainment industry. It's really a wise decision of her to transfer to another network.

Okay, back to the topic here's the synopsis from the Wikipedia article on Dyosa

Eighteen-year-old Dyosa is living a normal life as a student, a part-time cosplay model and a loving daughter to her midget parents when she discovers that she is not an ordinary girl. A half-man half-goat appears before Dyosa on her 18th birthday to reveal that Dyosa is actually a goddess, a descendant of Mariang Sinukuan and Bernardo Carpio, who is destined to rule the world of the upper gods.
Dyosa has to make a choice: Will she heed the call of her destiny and save the dying world of the Philippine gods and goddesses and leave the life she has lived for 18 years? Or will she resist her new role as a goddess and give up her powers to stay in the human world with the mortal she loves?

Fushigi Yuugi

Would you believe that I've finished watching the whole Fushigi Yuugi series in just two nights? I am so hooked up with it, that's why... lol... I first saw this on T.V. at GMA network but unfortunately they stopped it and change to another series. I really like watching this before, so now that I've got the chance to watch it, wala na gyu'y tulugay... hahahaha...

Junior high school student Miaka Yƫki is under a lot of pressure to pass the entrance exam for the competitive Jonan Academy. Her best friend, Yui Hongo, agrees to apply for the same school so that they can go together. While at the library one day, Miaka and Yui come into contact with a strange book there, known as The Universe of the Four Gods. As a result of reading this book, they are then transported into the novel's universe.

The series describes the various trials that the two teenagers face, both quest-driven and personal. Miaka would discover that her greatest enemy would lie in her own best friend, Yui, due to a series of events set in motion. Feeling betrayed, the two oppose one another as priestesses, bringing together their own respective warriors and vying for the chance to be granted three wishes by the gods whom they hope to summon.

One Tree Hill...

I woke up one night and caught my cousin and sister watching DVD in the living room. It is the season one of the television series entitled “One Tree Hill", borrowed by my cousin from one of her friends. I then sat next to them and started watching it.

The story goes better and better as each episode ends, definitely worth watching. In addition, it’s theme songs were good too that I instantly liked it’s opening song ‘I Don’t Want to Be’ by Gavin DeGraw and just the thought of mentioning it now makes me wanna sing it… *lol*

Here's a few lines from the song:

I don't want to be
Anything other than what I've been trying to be lately
All I have to do
Is think of me and I have peace of mind
I'm tired of looking 'round rooms
Wondering what I've got to do
Or who I'm supposed to be
I don't want to be anything other than me

I can’t wait to watch it’s next season, my cousin’s going to borrow the season two of it… My sister said that it is shown in RPN 9 every Wednesday but just not sure of the time hence, I’ll try and see if it is true. I don't know but it seems like I am already addicted to it... *smiling*

Where nothing ever changed until one outsider changed everything...

Nathan Scott, a beautiful and popular athlete, is the absolute star of the Ravens, his high school basketball team, just as once was his proud dad, ambitious businessman Dan Scott, who pushes him harder then even the coach approves of. When the team celebrates a victory by 'borrowing' a school bus arrests are made; Dan manages to get Nathan escape exclusion, but as others are less lucky the team needs new players, so the coach invites Nathan's half-brother Lucas Scott, who was abandoned with his mother and only plays basketball with a few friends in the park, his passion being reading. When he also seems to hit on with Nathan's girlfriend Peyton, the star dares him one-to-one for high stakes...

Besides a love for hoops, it would seem that Lucas and Nathan are two young men with little in common - except for the dark secret that they share the same father. Arrogant and assured, Nathan is the star of the high school basketball team and hails from the wealthiest family in town. Quiet, brooding and driven, Lucas is a loner, the only child of a single working mom. He's always kept his distance from Nathan. But their lives collide when a twist of fate puts Lucas on Nathan's team. The rumor that's haunted the boys since childhood now becomes more than just whispers as the half-brothers compete not only for control of the court, but also for the heart of Nathan's girlfriend. So unfolds a deep and bitter conflict that's been years in the making; one that will play itself out in their homes, their hearts and at school as they struggle to come to terms with who they really are - and the fact that they may have more in common than they ever imagined.
