Christmas Eve...

There are a few kids caroling a while ago when the clock hits 12 and my mom had a little something to give for them this Christmas. We told them to come back on the 25th and a few did really come back... We we're glad to see the smiles on their faces when we handed each one of them a present... May the spirit of Christmas continue to stay within our hearts even if it's not Christmas time... God Bless everyone...

Visiting Jan-jan

Jan-jan... He was my best friend and cousin... We grew up together since we we're still kids... Summer is our favorite time, sometimes I would spend it at their place which is just near to ours but most of the time he spends it here... We would play different games together with my other cousins.

He was so kind and silent most of the time, often bullied by our classmate and schoolmate when we we're still in nursery and I remember fighting with those bully boys that made him cry... As we grow up, became teenagers, we seldom talk and rarely hang-out together... He has his set of friends (all boys) and as for me too...

I silently cried during his wake... I haven't seen him for quiet some time then he's gone... May his soul rest in peace and Lolo's soul too, wherever they are... We miss you...

They're talking about incident that happened last 2003 and the MarsoKwatro times... Reminiscing the past...

Smoking While Driving

I have a post about Texting While Driving on my other blog. That was two months ago at General Santos City when we have our Gensan Tour during the 2nd Mindanao Bloggers Summit.

And now I have caught a driver smoking while driving...

Anyways, I was on my way going to Ecoland Terminal riding this taxi... At first I didn't see him smoking but when I smelled the scent of it I got irritated, I don't know, I just don't like the smell of it... I leaned forward and I saw the cigarette butt on his other hand while on his wheel... I grab my camphone and tried to ask him questions about the bus fair going to Tagum while I am taking those photos. I think he didn't notice it... When I got out of his taxi I took a photo of it too... Hehehe...

There is an existing No-Smoking Ordinance in the City. Smoking is prohibited inside public utility vehicles, taxis, government offices, hospitals, and theaters. The local government of Davao was the first city to strictly implement a "no smoking" law or the anti-smoking ordinance of Davao (THE COMPREHENSIVE ANTI-SMOKING ORDINANCE OF DAVAO CITY; City Ordinance No. 043-02). If you are caught smoking in public areas such as malls, restaurants, bars, and other public places, you can be fined and probably arrested and jailed.

I wanted to report him but my conscience is bothering me whether I should report this incident or not, luoy man pud ang driver... Hmmm... Maging considerate na lang unta sila... They can smoke all they want but not on public lang sana...

What Happened to Miah?

Well, after sulking for three weeks, I am finally out of my shell once again... Yeah! (Nahayagan na ang wakwak! LOL)... It was a hard week for me and I guess that was the longest week that I haven't been with myself. I lose weight na daw according to my best friends... Kaya now, bumabawi ako, I try to eat a lot... Lisud pud mabuang unya ko, tsk3...

Anyways, what I have been doing recently? Hmmm... Where do I start?

Well, meet my bestfriend Janed... Talk, food trip, shopping, and Travel... We went out of town, just a 3 hour ride away from Davao City. We went to one of our best friend way back in college, Cai's daughter just turned two last weekend and she's our god daughter by the way... Too bad she didn't recognize us coz we rarely went there because it's too far... Cai's place is at Santo Tomas, a one hour ride from Tagum City. I really liked their place, so peaceful, and in one with nature, one could really have a peace of mind in that place... We had a lot of catching up since we haven't been able to talk for months already... Missed her company a lot... but she can't do what we used to do way back, she has a family now and it's her priority...

Rhon was back in town again from Butuan and I am glad she was here... We went out, spend the days on food tripping, shopping, watching movies, hang-out at our place and at their place, talk and talk and talk... Somehow, I was able to laugh again after three weeks of being sad and crying... I am glad my best friends are here to hear me out...

Pero, lisud pud diay ma-brokenhearted, Gastos kaayo, hahaha... Pero worth it na rin, na-didivert ang attention ko to other things... I don't want this feeling to drown me into something which I am not... I wanna go back to my old self again... Act naturally in front of everyone, Laugh at little things, Do the things that makes me happy and fulfilled... Just back to the same old Miah... But, I guess there are some additions to that old Miah, I have learned a lot of things from this heartache na ako lang din ang may kagagawan (according to Ghenessa). Thanks for the advices too Ghen, Rhon and Jane... and also for making me smile and laugh even just for a while... Hmmm... I'm gonna miss you all when I will go out of the country again, hopefully early next year...

As what my favorite line says: "Live Life to the fullest..." then I should go on and live with it... I know God has a purpose on why these things are happening... I might not realize it now but later on, I know I will... Good Luck na lang to myself! Aja!
