I really hate our computer. Last week, when I arrived here at home, I use the computer. I was busy blogging when all of a sudden the computer turned off. I thought there was a brown out or something. Then my sister told me that it is always like that. I asked her if they scan the computer for viruses and she said yes, they also updated it. but then I've found out that they just keep on updating the anti-virus but didn't really scan the computer. *lol* When I check the firewall settings, it's turned off! Wwaaahh!!! I'm sure our computer has a lot of virus now. I downloaded Avast anti-virus because AVG; the one we we're using can't really heal or delete the viruses it has found. After downloading, I scan our computer using Avast and deleted some of the Trojan horse and worms it has detected. Right up to this moment our computer would still turn off suddenly and I don't know what to do na. It's kinda irritating when you were in the middle of something and then ***** suddenly it turned off... waaahhhh.... Can't use it properly, when I am blogging I click the 'save now' button every now and then, afraid that the blog post I am typing wouldn't be recovered when it will turn off again. *sigh*"Live life to the fullest"

Fushigi Yuugi
Would you believe that I've finished watching the whole Fushigi Yuugi series in just two nights? I am so hooked up with it, that's why... lol... I first saw this on T.V. at GMA network but unfortunately they stopped it and change to another series. I really like watching this before, so now that I've got the chance to watch it, wala na gyu'y tulugay... hahahaha...
Junior high school student Miaka Yūki is under a lot of pressure to pass the entrance exam for the competitive Jonan Academy. Her best friend, Yui Hongo, agrees to apply for the same school so that they can go together. While at the library one day, Miaka and Yui come into contact with a strange book there, known as The Universe of the Four Gods. As a result of reading this book, they are then transported into the novel's universe.
The series describes the various trials that the two teenagers face, both quest-driven and personal. Miaka would discover that her greatest enemy would lie in her own best friend, Yui, due to a series of events set in motion. Feeling betrayed, the two oppose one another as priestesses, bringing together their own respective warriors and vying for the chance to be granted three wishes by the gods whom they hope to summon.

The Peak
Officially named Victoria Peak, the Peak is a mountain directly above Central in Hong Kong. It is also documented as The Peak locally, and Mount Austin. The mountain is located in the western half of the Hong Kong Island. With an altitude of 552 m (1,810 ft), it is the highest mountain on the island, although far from the highest Tai Mo Shan in the territory. It is also known to have the highest land value in the world, with many of the Super-Rich residing here. Because of its view, history and spectacular location Victoria Peak is strongly attached with an air of prestige.
Thanks to its height it was the residence of choice for many of the city's early colonial administrators, who were trying to escape the oppressive humidity and persistent mosquitoes in the city below. Nowadays, rock stars, politicians and the city's playboys call the Peak home. Property up here is the most expensive real estate in the world, a sale of 12 Mount Kellet in 2006 went for a very reasonable $5,417 per square foot. The Peak has continued to be attractive thanks to the lack of humidity, stunning views of the city and it's greenness.
The two complexes, the and Peak Galleria, feature a host of restaurants and coffee bars. The Peak Tower, which has just undergone a multi-million dollar redevelopment, also contains a viewing platform at its top and Madam Tussauds at its bottom. The Peak Tram will deliver you right into the belly of the Peak Tower.

Day and night are both spectacular for viewing, however, if you need to choose, the neon lights of Hong Kong's giant skyscrapers are most majestic at night. Make sure that the day isn't too cloudy or polluted; otherwise you'll have a wasted trip.

We Will Rock You
Got the chance to watch the We Will Rock You Musical at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and it was really great, a show that one should never miss... Can't get enough with it, hehehe...Cameras and Videos are not allowed inside the theatre but can't help to take a few shots... (pabuyag kaayo hehehe).
We Will Rock You is a collaboration between Brian May and Roger Taylor of rock band Queen and writer/director Ben Elton. The show, which Features more than 26 of the group's hits including Bohemian Rhapsody, We are the Champions and Another One Bites the Dust, has been running in London since 2002 and been performed all over the world. Hong Kong is part of an Asia-Pacific tour that includes New Zealand, South Korea and Singapore.Ayesa, 38, played the lead role for two years in London. "When I started doing it I realised, "This is the greatest job I've ever had". Every single night I do the show l feel like I'm doing it for the first time." The show is set in a future world ruled by a company called Globalsoft. "People are not allowed to make music for themselves, or think for themselves. It's a very sanitised, boring world and their only friends are their Facebook friends" says the singer.
Ayesa plays Galileo, who receives psychic messages from musical heroes of the past and joins a group of rebels called the Bohemians to defeat the evil Company and set the world free through rock'n'roll. He loves the message behind the show "It's a very good moral ... you need to fight all the people who tell you you must not be yourself."
Although the piece of "Rock theatre " pays tribute to Queen's music. Ayesa says it appeals to more than just the band's fans. "You have old fans, new fans, grandparents who love it because it's funny, it's exciting and there are some very touching moments as well." Featuring a cast of 30, We Will Rock You is a spectacle of lasers, pyrotechnics and video. "And the sound - this is probably the loudest show you will ever see on stage. I don't call it a musical, it's more like a rock concert set on stage."
Born in the Philippines, Ayesa's family migrated to Australia when he was two years old: he grew up-in Sydney. He played in bands and dreamed of being a rock star but got into musical theatre in high school "as a way to meet girls". At 19, he broke off his studies to play Ritchie Valens in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story in Sydney, then London. He also tried to break into the record industry, with little luck. In the end he decided his pursuit of a career in pop music would only make him miserable, but "musical theatre is something I love doing and it loves me. so let's go with it".
There followed a string of big shows including Rent, Grease and Fame, on the last of which Ayesa met his wife, dancer Simone De La Rue. Ayesa was appearing in the West End production of Rent in 2002 when May asked him to audition for We Will Rock You. He says his two years as Galileo was "the most magical time of my life, l loved it. I bought a house, we were settled. I thought. "life cannot get any better than this."
But the lure of rock stardom remained strong and Ayesa left the show to take part in Rock Star INXS, the 2005 reality TV series in which Australian band INXS set out to choose a new singer among 15 contestants picked from 20,000 applicants. Ayesa came third. "By the end of the show I was a nervous wreck. I didn't think I could sing, I questioned everything that I was, everything that I did." Many viewers thought Ayesa's sunny personality and unfailing niceness were not rock star material. Meeting him, "nice" seems a fitting adjective but asked if he has a portrait in his attic growing old and ugly, Ayesa roars with laughter. He says May is "the ultimate rock star, and one of the nicest guys in the world. So the people who stay I'm too nice for rock'n'roll can go f*** themselves!"
Ayesa is thankful for the doors reality TV opened, bringing him a devoted fanbase and his dream of a recording contract. His first album. MiG, will be released in Hong Kong to coincide with the run of We Will Rock You. Now based in New York, he hopes to continue his recording and theatrical careers in tandem but never plans anything ahead "because a sure way of making God laugh is to tell him your plans".
For now he is looking forward to rocking Hong Kong with the show. "It's the joy of singing these songs which are probably some of the greatest rock songs ever written," says Ayesa, who has performed here in The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber (1996) and Fame (2002). "And you see the transition in some of the songs from being bombastic and flamboyant to being so heartfelt and sincere. You really see the audience go, 'Oh!' it's so unexpected, so that's really great and I hope Hong Kong audiences will respond in the same way."

Ride the MTR to our respective gates...
I arrrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport at around 1 a.m. from Hong Kong, still dizzy because I have this 'motion sickness' and a bit sleepy but excited at the same time. Went to the Domestic Airport, bought a ticket to Davao and waited for my flight.
Arrived at Davao International Airport around 7 a.m. While I was sitting on the plane the song's lyrics 'I'm coming home' keeps on repeating on my head... hehehe... Excited? Yeah, I am...And now I'm finally home... It feels good to back to my hometown... It's been months already, almost three months I think, hehehe... I'm happy to be back, missed Davao City... I ate breakfast, missed eating pandesal hehehe... After eating I went to our room and lay down to sleep.... Been awake most of the time.... zzzzzzz........

Ruinas de S. Paulo
The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of what was originally the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's College which stood adjacent to the Church. As a whole the old Church of Mater Dei, St. Paul's College and Mount Fortress were all Jesuit constructions and formed what can be perceived as the "Acropolis" of Macau. Close by, the archaeological remains of the old College of St. Paul stand witness to what was the first western-style university in the Far East, with an elaborate academic programme. Nowadays, the facade of the Ruins of Saint Paul's function symbolically as an altar to the city.
Fortaleza do Monte
Built in conjunction with the Jesuits from 1617 to 1626, this was the city's principal military defense structure. Built by the Jesuits as their headquarters at the same time as St. Paul's, the Monte Fortress provided ab effective defense against attack by Dutch in 1624. The fortress was equipped with cannons, military barraks, wells and arsenal that held sufficient ammunition and supplies to endure a siege lasting up to two years. The fortress covers an area of 10,000 square metres, in the shape of a trapezoid. The four corners of the fortres protude to form bulwarks. Today it houses the Museum of Macau, which occupies the foundation and platform with exhibits that illustrate the life of macau and it's people over the past four centuries, emphasizing the bi-cultural character of the city with it's different faiths and festivals, social customs, architecture, sports, art and cuisine. Special attention is also given to the merging cultures to create the distinctive Macanese society.

Flashing Question Mark on Your MacBook
I have a problem with our Macbook and so I find what's the cause and the possible solution of this online. [Article Source]
If you see a flashing question mark when you start your Mac, it's probably because it can't find the system software it needs to start up. Usually, all you have to do to get your Mac back up and running is remind it where its software is. After the flashing question mark appears, one of two things may happen:
- The computer starts up normally after a brief delay.
- The computer does not start up.
If your computer starts up normally after a brief delay, you probably just need to reselect the startup disk in Startup Disk preferences (Mac OS X) or the Startup Disk control panel (Mac OS 9). It's normal to see the flashing question mark when a startup disk has not been selected. In most cases, reselecting the startup disk is all that is required to resolve the issue.
Tip: If your computer is having a different startup issue, see this document instead.
Check the mouse and keyboard. If the mouse button is held down during startup, this issue might occur. Make sure the mouse button isn't pressed. If the issue persists, disconnect the mouse and keyboard before starting up as a test. Use your computer's power button to turn it off and on. If the issue persists, reconnect the keyboard and mouse. If you're using an Apple portable with an external keyboard attached, try disconnecting the keyboard from the portable before starting up as a test.
More solutions to try:
If your computer still starts to a flashing question mark, follow the steps for your Mac OS version below. Steps for Mac OS X if you have a MacBook Air. If you're using a MacBook Air, there are two options for starting up with a system software DVD:
Connect the MacBook Air SuperDrive to the MacBook Air using the USB port and restart the computer, holding down the C key during startup.
Use Remote Install Mac OS X to startup from a system software DVD that's located on a partner computer.
or more information on using Remote Install Mac OS X, please see this article.
Steps for Mac OS X The possible causes and solutions for this symptom appear in the order that you should try them. If any step resolves the issue, you don't need to continue to the next one. If at any time in this process you determine that your Mac OS X system software is missing, reinstall Mac OS X. Mac OS X system software is stored in the System and Library folders at the top (root) level of your hard disk. It is also stored in folders that are invisible when started up from Mac OS X but that are visible when started up from Mac OS 9. If you have started up from Mac OS 9 and deleted folders that were unfamiliar to you, you may have accidentally deleted your Mac OS X system software.
If you're not sure, save reinstallation for your last option. Start up from a system software CD or DVD, and repair your disk using Disk Utility:
Insert the Mac OS X Install or Restore disc.
Restart the computer, then hold the C key during startup.
From the Apple menu, choose Disk Utility. Do this in the first screen of the Installer. Don't click Continue. If you click Continue in a Mac OS X Installer version earlier than 10.2, you must restart from CD again.
Click the First Aid tab.
Click Repair Disk.
After repairing the disk, try to start from the Mac OS X hard disk.Tip: If your hard disk is not available (mounted) when started up from CD, reset the parameter RAM (PRAM) as described in step 3, then repeat these steps. If your hard disk is still not available after resetting PRAM, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Technical Support.
Try to select your Mac OS X startup disk using either
Reset parameter RAM (PRAM). Reset PRAM, then see if the computer starts up. If it doesn't, repeat step 2.
If none of these steps resolved the issue, start up from the Mac OS X Installation CD and reinstall Mac OS X. If your hard disk is not available (mounted) when started up from CD, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Technical Support. Steps for Mac OS 8 and Mac OS 9The possible causes and solutions for this symptom appear in the order that you should try them. If any step resolves the issue, you don't need to continue to the next one. If at any time in this process you determine that your System Folder or its contents are missing or were intentionally deleted, reinstall Mac OS 8 or Mac OS 9.If you normally start up from Mac OS 9 but don't have a Mac OS 9 CD that can be used as a startup disk, follow the steps for Mac OS X above. Some computers include Mac OS X Installation CDs and a Mac OS 9 Restore CD that can't be used as a startup disk. Once you've started up from Mac OS X, make sure a copy of Mac OS 9 is installed. If you erased your disk since the last time you started up in Mac OS 9, you may need to need to install Mac OS 9 drivers.
Start the computer from the Mac OS 8 or Mac OS 9 Installation or Restore CD that came with the computer.
Open the Utilities folder and locate Disk First Aid.
Open Disk First Aid and repair the disk.
Open the Startup Disk control panel.
Choose your hard disk as the startup disk.
Restart the computer.
Note: If your hard disk is not available (mounted) when started up from CD, reset the PRAM as described below, then repeat these steps. If your hard disk is still not available after resetting PRAM, contact an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Technical Support. If you can't choose your hard disk in the Startup Disk control panel, your System Folder may have been altered or removed. In some cases, you may solve the issue by moving files back into the correct location in a process known as "reblessing" the System Folder. A "blessed" System Folder is one that is recognized as a valid startup System Folder, as indicated by the appearance of the Mac OS logo badge on the System Folder.Reblessing the System Folder only works when all the original files are still installed and in the correct location (or you can put them back in the correct location). If any files have been deleted, you may need to reinstall system software. If you have deliberately removed System Folder files, this includes putting them back where you found them. Additionally, you should only have one folder named "System Folder" on your disk (not to be confused with the folder named simply "System" that is installed by Mac OS X, if both systems are installed on the same disk). To rebless your System Folder:
Start up from CD.
Close any open windows.
Open the hard disk.
Choose By Name from the View menu.
Locate the System Folder. Tip: You should only have one System Folder. If necessary, rename any other "System Folder" you're not using. Don't rename "System" if Mac OS X is also installed.
Open the System Folder. At this time, you should replace any items that you have previously removed from the System Folder, if applicable.
Do one of the following:
If Mac OS X is not installed or is installed on a different volume than Mac OS 9, drag the System suitcase and the Finder to your hard disk icon. If you have more than one hard disk, drag the files to the hard disk where the System Folder is.
If Mac OS X is installed on the same volume or partition as Mac OS 9, create a new folder outside of the System Folder but on the same disk, then drag the System suitcase and the Finder to the new folder.
Close the System Folder.
Drag the System suitcase and Finder back onto the System Folder icon. When the Mac OS logo reappears over the System Folder, it has been reblessed. Select the folder in the Startup Disk control panel, then restart the computer. Reset parameter RAM (PRAM)If after resetting PRAM the computer starts up normally, reselect the startup disk in the Startup Disk control panel.Troubleshoot SCSI (if applicable)Improper SCSI configuration, termination, or cabling may cause this symptom.
Shut down the computer.
Turn off all connected devices.
Completely disconnect the SCSI chain from your computer. If you have installed a third-party SCSI card, take it out of the computer.
Start up the computer. If your computer starts up OK, you know something is wrong with your SCSI chain.Check for a conflict with recently-installed softwareYou may be able to start up while holding the Shift key (which temporarily disables extensions). If so, troubleshoot with the Extensions Manager.Reinstall system software. Do this only if nothing else helps.

Guilty...
My mom bought me a new cellphone and I was so happy, I've been wanting to have this phone eversince yet I don't feel like I do deserve to have it... I still feel guilty about what happened to my brother-in-law's MacBook... I really didn't mean it, I know I shouldn't had used it without his consent, even if sometimes he just let me use it. I was alone in the flat that day, he has no work so he went back to HK. I was so lazy to go to the cafe so I used his laptop instead of going down.
I was uploading photos, check mails, and most of all BLOGGING. I am so into Blogging these past few months and it seems that my day wouldn't be complete without it. *lol* I don't know but I am so addicted to it, a day of not doing it would drove my mind to the things that I wanted to share and post here. Actually there's a lot of things that I do want to share but so little time and I don't have a computer of my own here. It was just two months ago when I really had time to blog, after I resigned from my job. Well, you can see my previous posts, you can just count them through your fingers.
Anyways, back to the topic... So, I was listening to some songs downloaded there and browsing different sites... All of a sudden it hang-up, I've waited for a few seconds, still can't move my mouse cursor, so I tried CTRL + ALT + DEL but it doesn't changed a thing. No end task window popped-out... It was like that for a few minutes when suddenly the screen turned all white... I was shock to see a flashing question mark on my screen... I tried to restart and waited, but all I can see on the screen is the flashing question mark on the middle. I started to panic, what happened? What did I do wrong? I tried to restart it again but still the result is just the same... I tried again and press the 'option button' then it all turned white and the flashing question mark wasn't there anymore. I really don't know what do do anymore, I felt like crying, I texted my friends if they've encountered something like that but they were'nt Mac Users so they also have no idea. Iam so worried what would my sister and brother-in-law's reaction if they'll find out what happened. I really can't imagine, I know how much it costs so I was really worried and hopeless... I was awake for hours, can't sleep and I still keep on thinking of possible ways to fix it, until I dozed off...
The first thing I do when I woke up? Opened the laptop, praying that it would be okay, but its' still the same... tried to restart again but still no change... I went to the internet cafe and search for possible tips on how to fix it. I tried to follow what I've researched, but that was just what I did last night. Hit on the option button... It has another option but I'm gonna need the System Software CD/DVD, but I don't have it...*sigh*
I looked for computer shops nearby and I saw one but it was closed. I went back to the flat and finally called my sister after how many attempts of dialing her number then pressing the end call button before the other line even started to ring... I was holding back my tears and my sister noticed my voice and asked me what's wrong. I paused for a while and said nothing... but still she insisted maybe she knows there's really something wrong going on from the tone of my voice. So, I started telling her the story, she was just calm and told me not to opened the laptop again and that her husband would check on it when he arrives back in Macau. I was somewhat relieved to finally told her what had happened but still the guilt feeling is still there...
My brother-in-law let it checked at Whampoa, where they've bought the Macbook. I still had no updates on what happened to it.. I left a note on his laptop saying how sorry I am on what happened and when we meet again with my sister she handed to me the small note and said: "Che, don't worry, you're forgiven." Wow... I was relieved to hear that... I just hope that his laptop will be okay and all their files there could be restored. Their family travel photos from different countries were there especially my sisters' photos, my nieces' Taekwondo photos and videos and other important documents there... *sigh* I hope it could be restored from the had drive... :(

Mobile Blogging
Yesterday, I was browsing some sites on my mobile phone, taking photos and tried to edit some of it... I was testing out my new phone and then I discovered something really cool. I tried to send my photo via bluetooth when I saw there are other options on the side bar like:
SEND As picture msg, As email, To blog, Via Bluetooth and Via infrared.
I was curious on the third one, Send To BLOG? Hmm... curious of it so I tried pressing the button and saw the Blogger's icon (I'm now having an idea on what is it hahaha) and so I tried give the picture a Title and Description. My first mobile blog post was 'Naning Gavin', and right after it was published, I received a text message from blogger.
It says: To edit your blog, use your computer to go to this page: http://go.blogger.com
Claim token (type of password): 5*****
Blog address: http:coxeel377.blogspot.com
Wow! I thought I have a new blogger account again? waaahh... I tried browsing the site on my phone and there I entered the Claim token and voila! I saw my new Mobile Blog... I was thinking, I have another blog to maintain again.. waaahh... have lots of blog already... hahahaha...
But I have found out that if I have already an account at blogger I can merged my Mobile Blog from the current blog I am using... Wow! COOL right? I can easily post a blog directly on the internet with my mobile phone... Cool, isn't it? And by the way it is FREE, blogger doesn't charge you any cents per blog post. Now that's way too COOL again! hahahaha... But they've said that your operator might charge you for the data traffic, but as for me, CTM, which is my mobile network provider here in Macau, offers FREE Wap browsing. I am so loving this! *big grin* Now I don't have to go to the internet cafe to blog, I can just do so with a few clicks from my phone. How amazing that can be? *lol* I could be more addicted to blogging now that I've found this hahahaha...
If you're mobile phone's carrier is Sony Ericsson (like me), you're now ready for MOBILE BLOGGING because Blogger Mobile is built into some Sony Ericsson camera phones, so you can post to your blog with just a few clicks.. If not? you can still do so. You can send text or photos from your mobile device to go@blogger.com they'll be automatically posted to your new blog. They'll reply with the address of your new mobile blog, plus a claim code for verification. Make a post to your new mobile blog, or use the claim code to link your phone to a different blog. And now you're welcome to Mobile Blogging! *grin*
For iPhone users, Phones without MMS can still post to Blogger via email with Mail2Blogger.
It's so COOL!!! hehehe... I am so lovin' this!

My Favorite Durian
My sis & I were craving for durian so when we saw and smelled one at PARK 'N SHOP, we bought a few without having second thoughts. Durians from Thailand really taste good, I was craving for more coz it's been a while since the last time we ate that fruit.

Olympic Torch Relay in Macau
I woke up early that day, I do all my laundry the night before , because I used to do it on Saturdays *lol*... Had my breakfast, tidy up my things, take a bath and get ready to go... weee.... :)
And the Torch was lighten up.... Swerte talaga ng mga Official Photographer may mobile pa sila, di na mahirapan mag-take ng pictures...
People were going crazy just to get near and grab some photos of the man holding down the torch...
...at nakuha ko pang mag-pose in a crowded street... :)
Saw this old man with the paramedics checking up on him. He's just one among the others who were hurt during the event because a lot of people were pushing and was so excited to watch the torch relay, good thing there's an ambulance nearby... I don't have much photos so to show kasi alam nyo na mahirap na makipagsiksikan hehehe...
