The newly crowned on Miss America 2011 is Miss Nebraska, Teresa Scanlan. The 90th Miss America pageant was held last June 15, 2011 at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. Teresa is just 17 years old and is the youngest winner of Miss America. Teresa is from Gering, Nebraska, a small town in the western part of the United States of America. She attended Scottsbluff High School and is planning to be a lawyer someday.
Trivia: Did you know that this is the first time that a Miss Nebraska had won in the Miss America pageant.
