Mother's Day 2013

My little girl's best gift to me is her LOVE and I couldn't not ask for more. Her hugs, kisses and the way she say Lab Lab (Love Love) to me, made me the happiest mom on Mother's Day. Indeed I am so HAPPY on Mother's Day and even when it's not, I am still happy because of the joy that she's giving me... It's PRICELSS! :)

MarsoKwatro - Death Anniversary

I really forgot that today was the death anniversary of my beloved PapaLolo... Maybe that's why I've dreamed of him last night... if not for a text message that I received from a close friend of mine, I wouldn't know what date is today... It was a funny text message by the way stating:
Gusto ka'g DATE karon? Mar. 04, 2009. O, mao na ang date karon! Date ugma, gusto pud ka? Hahahaha! Ugma na lang pud.

Then I said to myself: Hala! March 4 pala now, death anniversary ni Lolo... It's been 6 years already since the Davao Airport bombing incident, still, justice is nowhere to be found...
I was planning to go to the church and to the cemetery after I finish posting this but unfortunately, it's raining now... Maybe in a while, it will stop and I will visit his grave at the Davao Memorial Park...

Missing My Lovely Niece

Tita Ninang and Erin... My playmate (LOL), she loves to play with me and I take that chance to spend quality time with her... She loves to dance the 'Papaya' song and loves to watch and sing Charice Pempengco songs (Two Year Old Charice Pempengco Fan).

Time flies so fast... Kids grew up faster and I am missing my two beautiful niece... They're super duper makulit but sweet... Wish they were just minutes away from home, hehehe... Awww... I miss them na... but everytime I miss them, I would just look at their photos, videos and their voice record on my mobile phone... Still can't help but smile everytime I watch my niece's videos and photos... I hope they're doing good and in good condition... :)

My Lola's a real fighter... She'd been through a lot but we're still glad that she's okay now... after having a stroke two years ago and suffered a few injury during the Davao Airport bombing...

God is still good...

Death Anniversary

Today is the death anniversary of my father who was killed in a bomb accident at the Davao International Airport last 2003 (may his soul rest in peace). He was dead on the spot when bis body was brought to the Davao Medical Center (DMC), When I heard the news my bestfriend Cai and me hurriedly went to DMC and I saw my aunt and siblings outside... I thank God that they were safe, I'm praying that my PapaLolo, MamaLola, and my Mama Inday are safe too... They were at the Davao Doctors Hospital (Mama inday & Lola) and so we went there, it was then that I heard one of our relative said that Lolo's ----... and I don't want to believe her, I keep on praying and my mind's telling me 'NO! this can't be happening...' I call at home and ask our maid if he was there in the house but our maid said no, he wasn't... and a few minutes after that I hear him loud and clear shouting my name... 'Che!' and I quickly turned around my left side but I saw nothing, I asked my sister who's sitting beside me if she heard someone call my name, but she said she didn't... I know it was him, I recognize his voice, but I can't see him... I really don't know what to do and what I was feeling at that moment... then I knew what happened to him yet I still don't want to accept the fact... Was absent for days at school... I was thankful for our family friends and my bestfriends (Cai & Rhon) who were there to support and keep me and my family company during those days... I won't forget you for that, 'Thank You!'

Five years had passed and still the memory of the event still linger in my mind... I wish that the one's who were responsible for that incident would pay...

I miss you PapaLolo... I wasn't able to visit his grave since All Souls Day and before I leave Davao, butI know wherever he is right now he'll understand and my prayers will always be there for him...

Fun Day

February 23, 2008

Today is the Chinese New Year Fun Day at Maryknoll Convent School in Hongkong where my niece, Ericka studies. She is in Primary Level 3 now... Kai, Kuya Erwin and me went there, Ate Gaga can't attend because she has a flight to Vancouver and will be arriving tonight... Can't wait to see her again, it's been a while since the last time we saw each other and that was Christmas in 2006 at Manila...

Maryknoll is a popular school here in Hong Kong and we were all proud of Kai because she was able to enter to that school even if she's pure Filipino... The place's so wide with tennis courts, basketball court, a pool and it has a very beautiful landscape... Kai toured me around and she played some of the games there... The three of us played this 'big foot' thing and we stepped on it and carry the ropes up high so we can walk with it, we had fun playing and we won the game... *big smile* We ate and there was a raffle draw but unfortunately we didn't win, but still we were able to enjoy the day and had fun...

On a Sunday....

Started my day with my Mom walking inside the room, freaking out bout my Lola's being stubborn. I quickly woke up heading directly to my Lola's bed with my hair straight up (could you imagine how I looked like? lol) then, I saw her in the act of going back to her bed and started sitting. I was relieved to see her smiling at me, I don't know if she's smiling because of how I looked like or she's just happy to see me, nevertheless I'm thankful that she's alright... I Think I just misheard what my mom was saying; 'that's the reason she got her right hip broken because she stand up walk all by herself.' We were glad that she's not suffering any pain anymore because of that incident. I was sitting beside her for a while then I headed to the kitchen and had breakfast with my mom and aunt, after eating I stayed near my Lola and keep her company while watching t.v...

I was just sitting and writing when I heard her crying, I turned around and saw her wiping her tears... I asked her why she's crying but she just said 'wala lang' (nothing)... after a few seconds of asking her she said: 'palangga kaayo sila sa ilang Papa (Their father Loved them very much), si Inday, Beth, Rolly... hasta sad ikaw, ug tanan mga apo nya (and also you and the rest of his grandchildren.)' I told her not to cry anymore but just the thought of him would make my eyes teary... Well, I guess she just missed Lolo (may his soul rest in peace) it's been years since he passed away... I missed him too, there were times when I remember him, He used to scold me because I often went home late at night (usahay laagan lagi kaayo hehehe...) I'm scared of him sometimes especially when he gets mad coz he would really shout at you but after that he would remain calm and would talk as if nothing happened. He used to buy me a card (cellphone load) , chocolates (kay favorite man nako) and other stuffs, not just to me but also to his other grandchildren... I haven't visited his grave since I arrived here in Davao, I think I should visit before leaving... Three weeks and it would be the 5th year anniversary for all the victims of Davao Airport bombing... Too bad I wouldn't be in Davao on that day but my prayers will always be there for you (may your soul be at peace and for all that had passed away that day...)

I just wished that the one's who were responsible for the Davao Airport bombing would pay the price for their actions, but until now those terrorists were still out there... How could they sleep at night not thinking of the people that had died and was injured during the incident? Can't they hear the cries of all those who had suffered because of them? I just hope that their conscience would kill them...

Maroon & White '89

I was just looking at some of the stuffs in our cabinet not knowing what exactly I was looking for… There were books, magazines, Bible, etc… First, I was looking at the bible storybook when
a Maroon and White yearbook caught my attention, it was my sisters'. I paused for a while and think of
her, of how I missed her a lot for being not able to be with us here (in the Philippines) and the seldom communication. Right at that moment flashes of scenes were playing like I was watching a movie... way back when it was just the two of us... hanging out, playing games like 'Tagu-anay' (Hide & seek) & 'Sungka' (missed playing that game *sigh*), and her playing a good role as an Ate to me...

I then look at the pictures and try to find my sister’s picture but was so unlucky to hit upon some of the pages that had been cut… Well, I did finally saw her and was surprised to see my sister with me and our mom on the picture, my mom’s carrying me on her left while my sister is on the other side… I really missed my Ate Gaga, I just wished we could spend time together again just like before... Good memories are hard to forgetand that's all been left to us, but no matter what happens, YOU will always be here in my heart and I am forever grateful for all that you've done for me... Thank You! =)
